PH.D-CANDIDATE Matias Lennart Castrén

Matias Lennart Castrén is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science, South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany. The title of his doctoral thesis is “The political economy of India's strategic culture”. The research project is supported by the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation. Matias' research interests include global political economy, security studies, intellectual history and transnational corporations. Matias previously studied at the University of Malmö (MA) and the University of Helsinki (BSS).
