International Programs

The South Asia Institute (SAI) offers multiple programs (BA, MA) that provide international students with an opportunity to delve into the field of South Asian studies. 

The Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies (HCTS) offers an MA and a PhD program, allowing the world of transcultural studies to open up for aspiring students and scholars.

The official application period for Winter Semester is April 1 to September 30, and for Summer Semester, October 1 to March 31, but we recommend that international students apply for the programs as early as possible to avoid delays in receiving the student visa.
