Zeitschrift für Indologie und Südasienstudien (ZIS)

The Zeitschrift für Indologie und Südasienstudien (ZIS), until 2010 called Studien zur Indologie und Iranistik (StII), is a publication forum for Indological and South Asianist contributions on both classical and modern topics. We mainly publish philological and textual studies as well as research articles with a (colonial) historical, ethnographic or media focus.

ZIS is a bilingual (German, English) annual publication, edited by Hans Harder and Ute Hüsken. The articles submitted to the editors are subject to a double-blind peer review before final acceptance.
