Ph.D Ph.D. in Political Science

Thank you for your interest in writing a dissertation under the supervision of Professor Rahul Mukherji in the Department of Political Science, South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University. For an application, the following documents can be submitted to our doctoral studies coordinator Dr. Seyed Hossein Zarhani by 15 March or 15 September:

To the Academic Advisor

1. A concept of your doctoral project
2. An exposé of your research interests (max. 1500 words)
3. Curriculum vitae
4. Notarised copies of certificates and transcripts of all university degrees. The certificates must be submitted in German or English or supplemented by a German or English translation
5. Proof of scholarship if you already have one

Please note that the submission of these documents alone does not constitute admission to the doctoral programme. The selection criteria for admission to doctoral studies in this department are merit-based.
