Many languages, especially those spoken in South Asia, remain underrepresented in modern technology. Even advanced models like ChatGPT struggle to fully understand these languages because they have not been adequately incorporated in the AI training processes. Thereby,  by focusing on improving AI’s ability to work with languages like Nepali and Hindi, we aim to make these languages more visible and integrated in modern technology.
In addition, AI provides many powerful tools to study ancient texts, which hold deep cultural and historical knowledge. By using machine learning methods and statistical analysis, we can explore these texts more deeply and support language preservation.
This initiative brings together two goals: improving how AI understands Nepali, Hindi and Sanskrit, and using AI to study and preserve ancient texts. By doing this, we hope to ensure that these languages continue to be understood, valued and accessible in today’s world.
