Research Fellowship of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg
Seit 1986 fördert das Land Baden-Württemberg ein professorales Forschungsstipendium für indische Wissenschaftler:innen, das jährlich zweimonatige Aufenthalte ermöglicht. Bis heute hat es mehr als fünfzig Wissenschaftler:innen aus Indien nach Deutschland gebracht. Im Jahr 2022 wurde das Programm auf Wissenschaftler:innen aus allen südasiatischen Ländern ausgeweitet. Die Stipendiat:innen werden von den Abteilungen des SAI auf routierender Basis nominiert und auf der Grundlage eines Wettbewerbsverfahrens ausgewählt, um während ihres Aufenthalts bestimmte Forschungsziele zu verfolgen.
